Likewise, last year’s school performance measures are now published once more on My Local School website. The excellent pupil outcomes from last year’s Year 11 can be found here along with other comparative data such as attendance, the website can be found here: https://mylocalschool.gov.wales/

I hope you share our sense of pride in this report and the performance data as these successes above are testament to the dedication and commitment of our whole school community.

One of the cornerstones of our school’s success is the strong partnership between parents/carers and the school. We greatly appreciate the ongoing support you provide in reinforcing school rules and collaborating with us for the benefit of your child and all pupils in the school. However, we have observed a recent trend where some pupils arrive at school without the necessary equipment to begin their lessons. To maximise learning time and create a conducive environment for all, we kindly request that you check your child has in their school bag, at the very minimum, a pen, pencil and ruler in a pencil case with them each day. We would also appreciate it if pupils could bring a calculator, eraser, spare pens and pencils. Being prepared in advance will greatly minimise disruptions during lessons.

We truly value your partnership and appreciate your efforts in nurturing a positive and productive learning environment for all. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to the successful continuation of the school year. Please contact the school if you have any queries.

Yours faithfully,

Mr. Gareth Rees
Headteacher
