At Pontarddulais Comprehensive, we take immense pride in the dedication and achievements of our pupils. Today, we are thrilled to highlight the remarkable efforts of our Year 10 Business Studies pupils as they embark on a mission to address a pressing social issue: period poverty. Through our Big Bocs Bwyd community initiative, these ambitious capable learners are making a tangible impact on the lives of individuals in need while showcasing their determination to help the wider community.

Recognising the scope of the challenge they were undertaking, our pupils took the initiative to reach out to several supermarkets in our local area, seeking assistance and support. We are delighted to share that ASDA Gorseinon responded to their call and graciously offered their backing. The generosity and collaboration shown by ASDA Gorseinon have been invaluable, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude for their involvement in our cause.

We firmly believe that addressing period poverty requires a collective effort, and we invite all individuals and organizations who share our passion for creating positive change to join us. If you would like to contribute to our cause or learn more about our efforts, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Together, we can create lasting change and empower individuals in need.
