Dear Parent/Carer,
As a school we recognise the importance of pupils staying hydrated throughout the day, however this has often led to pupils using single-use plastic bottles. To promote sustainability and trying to limit the use of single-use plastics, we have purchased a red reusable water bottle for each pupil. These will enable your child to stay hydrated throughout the day, whilst also doing their bit to help the planet. Your child will be given a water bottle over the next few days to bring home and then use in school. The bottles will be labelled with the pupils’ initials and forms to ensure they can easily identify their bottle.
