Dear Parent/Carer,
As part of the transition process to post 16 education, our Year 11 pupils will have the opportunity to visit Gower College and Coleg Sir Gar taster open days on the 20th and 21st December. During PSE sessions this Autumn Term, pupils have received talks from the college tutors and have been given the opportunity to research potential future pathways. All pupils have choosen the A level or Vocational subject areas they wish to visit during the taster days.
Depending on your child’s course choice, they may be visiting Tycoch or Gorseinon campus for Gower College, and Graig or Pibyrllwyd campus for Coleg Sir Gar on the dates listed above.
There will be no cost involved for the visits, and transport to each campus has been organised. Lunch will be provided on the taster days, however pupils may wish to bring additional spending money should they wish to purchase other items from the catering outlets available on site.

The dates of the visits are as follows:
- Tuesday 20th December – Gower College Swansea (Gorseinon/Tycoch campus)
- Wednesday 21st December – Coleg Sir Gar (Graig/Pibyrllwyd campus)
All pupils will return to school in time for buses at the end of the day. If you have any questions with regards to the taster days please do not hesitate to contact me.
