Numeracy Interventions
How we help
Data from the personalised assessments allows us to see which areas need improving. This allows us to focus on these areas in our numeracy intervention. Learners will complete a pre and post-test to track progress. During the sessions will be shown a pre-recorded video, along with further examples and an exercise.
How Are Pupils Selected?
We select pupils based on the standardised score from their personalised numeracy assessment. Learners with a standardised score between 85 and 99 are selected for intervention.
What do the results show?
Numeracy Intervention has proven to be very effective in improving pupil’s numeracy abilities. The table to the right illustrates the levels of improvement we have seen so far.
