Dear Parent/Carer,

Last week of term arrangements

As we begin the last week of this academic year, we would just like to provide an update on arrangements for the last week of term. On Wednesday 20th July we are running our end of year school trips. Pupils can wear non-uniform for this event.

We do wish to emphasise the following guidance when pupils are attending school events in non-uniform:

  • With the current hot weather please ensure your child arrives with sun cream, water and a sun hat
  • Pupils need to dress appropriately for the weather conditions. Whilst it is warm, pupils should wear appropriate clothing for the setting, not exposing midriffs, and no facial piercings will be permitted
  • The school’s decisions is final on what is deemed acceptable

If your child arrives to school in clothing deemed inappropriate, they will be asked to change into more appropriate clothing. If they are unable to do so before the buses leave for the trips, they will not be able to attend.

On the last day of term  lunch will be at the earlier time of 12.15 and in the afternoon, there will be an ice cream van on site for pupils to purchase refreshments at allocated times. Pupils will need to bring in money if they wish to purchase a refreshment.  Pupils will need to be in uniform for the last day of term.

I hope you and your families are able to have a well-deserved relaxing summer break.

Yours sincerely,

Mr. Christopher Mitchell
