Examination Certificates

Thursday 5th November 2020

Dear Former Pupil,

Re: Examination Certificates

Certificates for your qualifications are now ready to collect from the school. Unfortunately due to the current restrictions on social gatherings, we are unable to hold a presentation evening at the school this year. However, we will be providing an award for each subject as usual and teaching staff will be presenting the award to pupils that have been successful by recording a video message. The videos will be uploaded to the school website so please keep checking the website and our school Twitter page for further updates over the next few weeks.

All GCSE and vocational certificates will need to be collected from the school. We are unable to send certificates in the post as they need to be signed for. Certificates will be available to collect from the school on Tuesday 1st December from 3.30 to 6.00 pm.

During the evening we will be operating a one-way system and all visitors must enter the school via the leisure centre entrance. Once you have entered the main building you should enter the sports hall where staff will be on hand to distribute certificates. Once you have collected your certificate you must exit the building as soon as possible using the designated fire exits. We ask for visitors to leave the school site as soon as possible and to not gather at entrance gates or doorways.

We must remind you that if you have coronavirus (Covid-19) symptoms, or if someone in your household has symptoms, you must not attend school to collect the certificates. In this instance we can arrange for the certificates to be collected on an alternative date. If you are unable to attend at the allocated day/time please contact the school so we can arrange an alternative time for you to collect the certificates from school.

We look forward to seeing you again and to provide you with the certificates that you fully deserve after achieving a successful set of examination results last summer. If you have any queries, please get in touch with the school.

Yours sincerely,

Mr. A. Owens

Deputy Headteacher
