Help and support can be found on the front of the StudyZone area (click the life ring) (https://moodle.pontcomp.co.uk/course/view.php?id=336).

For information on what work needs to be completed visit the Pupil Area on the main School Website then click on Key Stage 3 or Key Stage 4 Work.  There is a list of subjects, work to do, resources, help and guidance.

If your child has not had the chance to complete the pupil questionnaire about distance learning, please could you kindly ask them to complete by Friday.  When they follow the link they will need to log in with their HWB account details: Pupil Questionnaire

New Work

YEAR 9 > 10

You will have noticed a new tile appearing on the front of Study Zone. This tile will take our year 9 pupils onto their Year 10 subjects.

Week commencing:  June 1st 2020

KS3 – Year 7 – New theme: Task 1 of Anifeiliaid Anwes / Pets [Study Zone]

KS3 – Year 8 – New theme: Task 1 of Cymru / Wales [Teams]

KS3 – Year 9 – New theme: Task 1 of Abertawe / Swansea [Study Zone]

KS4 – Year 10 – New theme: Task 1 of Problemau Pobl Ifanc / Young Peoples’ Problems [Study Zone]

Advice for the completion of the tasks – always start with task 1 [week 1] and work through to task 4 on a weekly basis.  Each new theme will consist of 4 tasks = 4 weeks.  Pupils are asked to upload their work on a weekly basis.  In addition, answers for each task will be provided every Sunday evening prior to the new task being set on the Monday.


New English work for Year 7 and 8 will be uploaded later this week.
