PPE Update
Pontarddulais is continuing to produce PPE equipment for front line workers. Our laser cutter has been hard at work cutting face shields. So far we have sent over 100 face shields to care homes in:

We are still manufacturing the face shields and will be producing another 600 in the next 2 weeks. If any front line key worker would like one, please contact Mr Jones : ppe@pontcomp.co.uk for information on the shields.

Competition Time – Baking
Bake a celebration cake , cup cakes , biscuits , colourful breads, pizzas . Use the colours of the rainbow to decorate them . Be creative .
Competition Time – Art
If you prefer you can use any materials you have at home to create a rainbow themed piece of art. There are a great many colourful foods for inspiration.

Advice for the completion of the tasks:
This is week 2 / 4. Task 1 Answers are now available alongside Task 1. These answers will be helpful for anyone attempting Task 2 this week. Pupils are asked to upload their work on a weekly basis. In addition, Task Answer will be provided next Sunday evening prior to the new task being set on the Monday.
Design Technology
The Design Technology department have uploaded an additional two tasks. Head over to the D&T area to grab the worksheet. We have also added an assignment drop for you to upload your images. If you need help to upload the images please visit the help section on Moodle.
Drama
Year 7 Drama has been added under the creative section. Click here to visit the creative section.
Food & Nutrition
If anyone does any cooking or uses any of the recipes we have uploaded to the wellbeing area, could you take a photo of your creation and email it to bakeoff@pontcomp.co.uk please.
Music
The Music department have uploaded a range of tasks for Year 7 and 8 to complete. There’s also a music quiz for everyone to try. Those who get top marks will receive a special email. Head over to the creative area and join the Music section or click here.
Wellbeing Section
Over the last week we have added a few more resources to the wellbeing section. We have added an animation series from Disney parks where you can learn how to draw your favourite Disney characters!
